The Difference between shared and dedicated IP addresses

An IP address is the real address of a website. It is a 32-bit numeric address usually expressed as 4 numbers from 0-255 separated by dots, for example 203.201.60.2 . Every domain name that is a home to a website has an IP address assigned to it.

There are two types of IP addresses:

1) Dedicated IP address.
2) Shared IP address.

Dedicated IP address: Dedicated IP address is also known as static Ip, And an IP address that is assigned to one site. Having a particular IP address for a website, whether you type in your URL or the numeric form of its IP address, both will bring you to the same domain.

Shared IP address: A shared IP is an IP address that is used for multiple websites. This makes it easier for them to manage and maintain the servers and allows them to charge very inexpensive fees for monthly website hosting.
